So far so good
Sunday was Sean's birthday and after a long night of reading Harry Potter we all slept in that morning. Rushed off to church and than I tried to make Sean's favorite pie, peach pie. After three failed attempts of making the sauce I finally succeeded and at 10:00 pm we were able to eat peach pie and sing happy birthday. I was glad to see a smile on his face and watch him eat an entire pie. (It was very yummy!)
Sunday we also recieved phone calls from family wishing him a happy birthday. The Smith's were excited about the gift they picked out for Sean that would arrive sometime on Tuesday July 3rd. With much anticipation Sean opened the gift and what did we see.....
A Wii!!!!
Sean and I were both excited! So the last two days we have gotten through one chapter of Harry Potter and played over 8 hours on the wii. Our favorite so far is the boxing!!! Now my shoulders are killing me! But for the first time there is a video game player that I enjoy as much as Sean. Kepler was even enjoying it. Little frustrated that he couldn't get it to work exactly like mommy and daddy (he wasn't quite understanding that you have to push a few buttons, it wasn't just waving around). It was soo cute!
The 4th of July was an absolute fun filled day! We played HARD! Hadn't done that in a long time. We went to a breakfast in which Kepler ate the entire 2 hours it was held. (Loves strawberries!) There was a flag ceremony and sung the star spangled banner and of course it was near a play ground and lots of kids, so Kepler was just having the time of his life. We went home and took naps and since it was so hot went to the pool for some fun! Than headed over to a BBQ with some friends at the park and than to fireworks! Phew, what a fun, exhausting day. I would do it all again!
